The Book Lover's Tag

Hey, I hope you are having a great day! Here is the link to the creator of this cool tag.
The Book Lover's Tag
I don't have much else to say, other than again, I was not tagged to do this. #tagmeand iwilldowhateveryouwant(not exactly)

The Rules
1. Answer the questions
2. Have fun!
3. Tag some book loving bloggers

1. If you could rewrite the end of a book, which one would it be?
Hmm. Let me think. Ok, this kind of feels like cheating but hey-ho! The Last Battle by C.S Lewis.
I haven't technically read this book but my brother has and he told me the ending. I don't like the sound of it and it has actually made me hesitant to read the series for my self. I will do it one day hopefully.

2. Which fictional character are you most like?
Another one I have to think about.
A few months ago I read The Help, and I felt like I had some similarities with Minny Jackson.
She says what she thinks most of the time and is a bit hot-tempered. I can be a bit like that.
In future books they may be another character that I am similar to, but for now this is my answer.

3. Do you have any signed books?
The Mozart Question by Micheal Morpurgo
At first I was going to say no, but then I remembered that we have this book and it happened to be signed. Some relatives of ours who live in England they got a few signed copies at a book signing and sent us one.

4. What's the best book you've read so far this year?
This question has to have more than one answer.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

The Icing on the Cake by Janice Thompson

........there may be more by the end of the year........

5. Do you have any bookish pet peeves?
Yes. Cracked/creased spines, Crumbs in books, dog-eared pages, dust jackets. Those are the main ones.

6. Out of the books you have read this year, what has had your favourite cover?

The Forgotten Recipe by Amy Clipston

The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson

7. Is there a book that releases this year that you cannot wait to read?

Dangerous Illusions by Irene Hannon

8. What is your favourite nonfiction book?
*checks her Goodreads shelves*
I haven't read much non-fiction so I don't have a favourite one yet.

9. Do you have a favourite location and/or time period to have a book set in?
I love the country. Out in the country, on a farm/pioneer farm, English country village etc.
That would be my ideal location.
Time period, hmm, basically any time in the 18-1900's. Like the pioneer American time and the WW2 time period onwards.

10. Is there a book that reminds you of something else?
Not really.

So there y'all have it, my answers to The Book Lover's Tag!

  1. Nice!

Yeah, the ending of The Last Battle was not my favorite either, but...
Also, I really need to read The Help! Like the movie is good, but the book is always better, so definitely.

  2. Thank you for tagging me, Hannah!!
Oh , The Help is such a good book! And the movie is so great too! I couldn't put that as answer though, because I read it last year and not this year :)
Those book covers are so lovely! I especially love The Huntress of Thornbecke Forest. I haven't read that myself, maybe I will(if I can find it in the library).
Again, thank you for tagging me! I am busy on it right now.

Send me a little note if you appreciated this post! It will make my day!
